Skill Development

Skill Development
At Folak Adult Social Program we prioritize skill development to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain independence and confidence in their daily lives. Our program focuses on essential life skills, including self-care, cooking, budgeting, and communication. Participants engage in structured activities such as problem-solving exercises, adaptive learning sessions, and hands-on workshops that enhance cognitive and practical abilities.
Additionally, we incorporate social and vocational skills to prepare individuals for real-world interactions and responsibilities. Through group activities, community outings, and volunteer opportunities, participants learn teamwork, decision-making, and self-advocacy. Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment where each individual can develop at their own pace, gaining the skills needed for a fulfilling and independent life.
